» Welcome to the second episode from HOT GIRL SUMMERTIME! We hope that you have enjoyed the first part of this “series” and now, with no further dues, let’s get into part two :)


» In this blog post, we will discuss body image and summer clothes. So, bring your favorite magazines, material to write, your summer notebook, and your Pinterest vision board, and let´s jump in!


» As we previously talked about, when we discussed mindset, warm days tend to make us exposed more our bodies, which can be a target of mean and disrespectful comments.

“Oh, she has acne!” + “OMG! Look at that! She has cellulite!” + “She has stretch marks all over the place, she should cover that!” + “Her body is NOT a bikini body at all!”

We could seriously go on and on with all the discriminating comments, but we choose not to because of all of that = trash!

That’s right! Don’t listen to what other people have to say about your body! Not now and not EVER! Be proud and love your body every day! Show what you want to show and not what other people would prefer to!


» And here are some reasons why:

  • It’s YOUR body and NOT their bodies! They choose what they want to do with their bodies, and you choose what you want to do with your body. Just remember to stay safe and healthy, and everything will be perfect!

  • It’s summertime! It’s time for you to have fun and relax! Don’t spend your summer worrying about mean people, that don’t deserve your attention. Instead, you can focus on yourself and on the people that care about you. Shake that negativity away, they are the ones that lose!

  • If they are random people on the beach, why would you care even a little about people that you will probably never see again? Let them make a fool out of themselves, and be confident in your own body! Trust us, it will feel good!

  • If they are being disrespectful about body image, it shows a lot about that person. It may just be jealous or trying to bring someone down. Whatever it is, be the smartest person and move on. Ignore them and live the way you want to.

  • Do you really want to private yourself from doing what you want like wearing a bikini? And then look back and realize that you choose that because of ignorant people? Don’t do it like that! Wear the bikini and wear it with confidence!


» Now, let’s discuss summer diets and workouts. Yes, we know that we just mention how you should love your body the way it is and not change yourself because of OTHER PEOPLE’s opinions. And no, we are not contradicting ourselves.

People need to normalize real bodies with stretch marks and cellulite and everything. Yes! We definitely agree with that.

But we also need to normalize taking care of ourselves and working on ourselves for ourselves the way we want to. At the end of the day, what matters is that you are healthy and safe. Whether you choose to stay the same, or if you decide to change. Just keep a good and healthy balance that makes you happy. Avoid extremes and toxic diets. They won’t help, not even a little a bit.


So here are some suggestions for workouts:


» Find your balance and choose something that you KNOW that it is for YOU and not for others. And no matter what, work on yourself for yourself.


» That is the end for today’s blog post. We wanted to share these two big topics the right way, giving them the importance they need and is why we focused two blog post on mindset and body image.
