SPRING TRENDS FOR 2021: part one

Before diving into the fashion world from this spring, we just want to remind you that these and any other trends represent fashion styles that are trending through the world at the moment, which does not mean that you should do the same just because they are trending.
Fashion is a magical world with a huge contribution to stimulate people into expressing themselves. Choose what you want, what represents your soul, and the message that you want to share with the world in that day, instead of following blindly any trend.
So, in honor of this ideal, we are going to share with you, at the end of which trend, if we will join the list of people using it or not!
Another side note from our team (we promise this is the last one for today) is to be conscious of your choices. We know that while online shopping our hands tend to slide into adding unnecessary things to the shopping cart all the time (hahaha…we definitely know about it…), but try to make an effort to, before making the final decision, look to the products that you choose and ask yourself whether you really need then or not.
Also, try to look through the clothes that you already have and maybe do a spring clean to your wardrobe. This is definitely an interesting theme to go through here, so stay tuned for that :) So, as we were saying, try to economize and look through your old clothes, you never know what will happen. Maybe you will end up finding some stuff that you really like and forgot about it!
So now, after all the disclaimers and side notes, let´s jump right into this Spring Fashion of 2021 (AHH! We are so excited!!).
The first trend that we found is the corset. For all the people that LOVE a sexy look for the day, the corset will definitely be your thing. Whether if it has cleavage or just a regular look, the corset is a perfect piece of clothing to wear with a blazer. It will definitely bring tones of GIRL BOSS vibes to your OOTD.
Now, there are different ways to style a corset. But our top suggestions are styling it in a monocolour outfit, with a blazer and “formal pants”, to get the chic GIRL BOSS look or you can also go with the corset and some ripped blue jeans, to get a more casual look. Wither way, damm! It sounds pretty good!
When it comes to our team’s opinions:
Wave: I like how it looks on the shop’s display, but I am not looking forward to actually wear them.
Thunder: Honestly, I am not a big fan of corsets myself. I may end up changing my mind about it but for now, I just think that it looks SEXY on an outfit! If you like a sexy outfit, definitely go for it!
Stars: I am a true fan! Even though they have a bad history, corsets are a unique piece of clothing that will bring fanciness into your closet.
Cloud: I am a fan of how they look. However, in my perspective, when used too often, they can be unhealthy.
The second trend is rubber boots. For my personal experience (thunder talking here, hi!), when I was a kid and my mom told me that I had to wear them, ham… let’s just say that… it was a nightmare! I was an active kid and the rubber boots would cut a little bit on my movements, so I hated them. But now… Oh, now it is a different story for sure! The rubber boots are the perfect match for an oversized look, with a big jacket and cute bag. Just like the ones that make you look naked on the bottom, but in reality, you are not, or so it was what we thought hahaha :))
Another way to style the rubber boots is to wear them with cute soft texture shorts or a skirt, and a matching set for the upside. And if it is a little bit cold, then maybe add an overcoat matching with the rubber boots.
Our team thoughts:
Wave: I like them and I would wear them with a cute outfit, to make the perfect oversized outfit.
Thunder: As I said before, I really love them, especially the ones with different details on the bottom. It will definitely bring a gorgeous look to the OOTD!
Stars: It’s a big no for me! Rubber boots might look good in some outfits, but they will never be a classic.
Cloud: They look gorgeous in a lot of outfits. Personally, I really love these boots and I wish to have a pair of these in my wardrobe this spring.
The third trend for this spring is the top scarf. The more pardons, the better, and they will definitely look good with some high-raised jeans or skirts. To make the top scarf stand out better in your OOTD, our advice is to wear then with something white or black on the bottom, and maybe a little bag matching the top scarf and the shoes (that sounds so good in my head right now!).
We definitely advise you to wear the scarf top on a good weather day, because by putting some jacket over them, they might lose the sparkle they had on their one. And also, a cute reminder that they will definitely look good with a shoulder bag!
What our teams think of it:
Wave: It is a cute piece of clothing however I would not wear it this spring. Top scarfs are not exactly my vibe.
Thunder: I definitely like seeing it on outfits, but for me, it is a no. A top scarf is a very unique piece of clothing, but for now, it is not something that I will wear.
Stars: An amazing trend that will stay for sure until the end of the summer. I would definitely invest in them!
Cloud: This is a trend I really like! It looks so cute and gives me a summer vibe right away. The only thing I would have to be careful is combining it with the right bottom :)
The fourth trend is the Bermuda shorts. This piece of clothing looks so good with a crop top and a blazer, to give a formal/informal look. High heels, Bermuda shorts, a shoulder bag, and a cute shirt is the perfect look to nail the OOTD. It will definitely not fail on you!
But be aware of the sizes and the shapes, because it is not for everyone. But hey! If you like what you see, shock everyone! It is what you like that matters! And if you don´t like it, it is definitely fine and doesn´t let anyone tell you the opposite! You choose what you use!
Some thoughts on it:
Wave: I prefer shorts to be shorter :) So I will not wear these, but you can definitely find short shorts in my wardrobe!
Thunder: I will always be a fan of short shorts, but I might end up changing my mind about the middle shorts. For now, it is a no for me, but we will see what happens next.
Stars: They can be denim or more formal. They are a big yes from me :)
Cloud: These are a bit tricky to match with your top clothing because they have a more countryside look. However, I like them and I would definitely try them on me!
The fifth trend is flare pants. These pants are all over the place and they are for sure a huge trend right now. Some cute sneakers (maybe white), a crop top or an oversize sweater and a white skirt, and a shoulder bag, ohh that is the dream of the moment.
For all of you that like to highlight your body, this is your trend. Your legs will be highlighted with the flare pants and a crop top will show off your upside. To the icing on the cake, a hair claw is a must! But that will be discussed on a HAIR TRENDS FOR 2021 SPRING. Stay tuned for that!
Our team’s opinion:
Wave: SUPER CUTE! I would totally wear them! For me, it is a must for this spring.
Thunder: It is unfortunately a no for me. How many NOs have I said today? Ups! But well, this is the reality when you don´t like the majority of the trends of the moment. And that is okay! Trends come and go, and the final decision on whether if you should wear them or not is always yours!
Stars: I am a big fan of most trends from the 70/80/90’s, so of course I love these!
Cloud: LOVE THEM, LOVE THEM, LOVE THEM! They bring back the 80’s trend that gave life to many outfits! I recommend that everyone should have at least one pair of these.
